By Lodu William Odiya

Morobo County authorities have confirmed that 130 primary candidates will sit for the 2025 Certificate Primary  Education (CPE) within the county, ending earlier uncertainty over possible relocation.

According to a statement issued by the county press department yesterday, the examinations will be administered at St. Charles Lwanga Primary School.

All candidates from across Morobo County had already been transported to Morobo Town in preparation for the national tests.

Speaking during a briefing session, County Education Director Moses Wani revealed that significant effort was required to ensure the pupils could sit their examinations locally.

He emphasized that the national Ministry of Education had initially planned to move the candidates to Yei due to security concerns.

“We worked hard to make sure our children are examined here in Morobo,” Wani said, emphasizing the importance of keeping candidates close to home.

County Executive Director Gale Ezbon, who also attended the briefing, reassured pupils that the earlier rumours of relocation had been resolved.

He encouraged the candidates to stay focused, noting that the security situation across Morobo County is currently stable.

“You will sit your exams here without unnecessary movement,” Ezbon told the pupils, urging them to remain determined as they approach the national assessments.
