The quest to elevate South Sudan’s footballing pedigree took a significant leap on Monday, January 12, 2026, as the top leadership of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) convened a high-stakes review of the nation’s technical development.
In a move signalling a new era of professional accountability, SSFF President Francis Amin, alongside the Secretary General, Adv. Bak Athian Bak, hosted a strategic briefing with the top carders of the SSFF Coaches Committee. The meeting, attended by Committee Chairperson Mr. James Garang and his deputy, Mr. Albino Simon Ajak, centered on the intensive CAF B Coaching Course currently underway in Juba.
The committee presented a comprehensive progress report, providing a transparent look at the rigorous training modules and the commitment of the instructors to meet international benchmarks.
“The tactical revolution of South Sudanese football starts in the classroom,” President Francis Amin stated during the session. “I must praise the Coaches Committee for its crucial role in enhancing coaching qualifications and capabilities.
