The National Minister of Health Luke Thompson Thoan has Promised to ensure transparent, collaborative approach to improve service delivery.
Thompson Thoan made the remark during his reception at health Ministry.
The event brought together the former Minister of Health, Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial, the Minister of Gender, the Undersecretary and Directors General of the Ministry of Health, along with representatives from WHO South Sudan, UNDP South Sudan, UNICEF South Sudan, and other implementing partners.
The reception brough senior government officials, health sector leaders, and development partners together to welcome the Minister.
At the ceremony, Minister Thoan emphasized the importance of collaboration and transparency in addressing the country’s health challenges.
“Together we will restore confident in our health system together we will deliver real results, together we ill serve the people of South Sudan with the dignity they deserve” he said
He expressed his commitment to ensure that all the health centers operate in the country.
The Minister urged the partners to continue to support the health sector in the country.
Dr. Humphrey Karamagi, WHO Representative for South Sudan, congratulated the Minister on his appointment and reaffirmed WHO’s commitment to strengthening health systems.
The Ministry of Health and its partners pledged to continue working hand in hand to build a healthier, stronger South Sudan, focusing on sustainable improvements in healthcare access and quality.
