One person dies in a truck accident in Mirmir Payam

A 13-year-old girl has died after being struck by a truck belonging to a construction company in Mirmir Payam, Koch County, Unity State.

The incident occurred on Friday, and the driver was later arrested after attempting to flee the scene.

The traffic police director of highways in Unity State, Major Domai Dak Kai, confirmed the incident that killed the 13-year-old girl to the No. 1 Citizen daily newspaper.

The incident occurred on Friday when there was a car company, Aloni Naoh Construction Company, that constructed the Leer airstrip, and the driver of the truck was arrested, and his driver was taken to Koch County headquarters on Saturday.

“The driver was arrested in Mayiendit County, identified as Kuok Village under Thaker Payam, and he was brought back to Mirmir after he ran away when he knew that he had committed the incident that led to the death of a 13-year-old girl,” he said.

Dak said this is the first incident of the year in the area of Mirmir Payam since last year, when there was no incident.
