CES governor urges security forces to be disciplined, orderly while on duty

Central Equatoria State Governor, Rabi Mujung Emmanuel has urged the security organs to maintain discipline and order while executing their duties.

In a statement extended to this outlet, Governor Mujung, while addressing security organs from various units at the secretariat, highlighted the critical role they play in maintaining law and order.

Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung acknowledged their dedication and hard work in safeguarding the state and emphasized the need for unity and collaboration among all security forces.

He underscored the importance of staying alert to emerging security challenges and encouraged personnel to engage with the community to foster trust and cooperation.

Security is one of the most fundamental rights of every human being, and our citizens should be provided with that right. I urge you to reflect on the image of discipline and integrity while executing your duty,” Mujung said.

The statement noted that the governor paid a courtesy visit to all the offices within the State Secretariat to familiarize himself with the staff.

The visit aimed at listening to the challenges faced by each department and encouraging civil servants at the Secretariat to effectively and actively execute their respective mandates with affection.

Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel was appointed governor of Central Equatoria State in a presidential decree read on the state-run TV, SSBC, on Monday, June 16, 2025, replacing Gen. Augustino Jadalla.
