The South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) has officially announced the final candidates for the upcoming elections for the term 2025 to 2029.
According to a statement issued by the SSFF press unit, the announcement was made yesterday during a press conference at the SSFF headquarters, showcasing the commitment to transparency and integrity in the electoral process.
The statement noted that Ad, Arnis Faulo Marino, representing the Elections Committee, emphasized that the review process was thorough and adhered strictly to the association’s statutes and electoral laws.
It underlined each applicant was evaluated meticulously to ensure they met the established eligibility criteria.
The statement further emphasized that the process reflects the SSFF ’s dedication to maintaining high standards in governance.
It stated the final list of candidates was confirmed after a rigorous examination by the federation’s Appeals Committee, chaired by Ad, Tong Majok.
It also underlined committee carefully reviewed all candidate documents and the reasons for excluding certain applicants, ultimately ensuring that only qualified individuals advanced.
Among the notable candidates are Mr. Augustino Maduot and Mr. Francis Amin Michael, both vying for the presidency of the federation.
The statement also noted that their inclusion in the final list marks an important step in the electoral journey for SSFF, as they bring distinct visions and leadership qualities to the table.
“As we move forward to the elections, the SSFF encourages all stakeholders to engage in the process and support a fair and democratic election” statement noted.
