The leadership of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF), including President Francis Amin Michael and Secretary General Victor Lawrence Lual, over the weekend participated in the CAF Impact Strategic Roundtable Workshop held in Kampala.

Organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the one-day workshop gathered presidents and general secretaries from across the continent for strategic discussions on the governance, development, and sustainability of African football.

The session provides a vital platform for South Sudan to align with CAF’s long-term vision, strengthen its domestic football structures, and share experiences with other federations.

President Michael and Secretary General Lual participation ensures the country’s football development priorities are well-articulated to suit continental level.

Their participation demonstrates the SSFF’s commitment to embracing CAF’s initiatives and contributing to the collective progress of African football. The Kampala roundtable discussion concluded yesterday, with key recommendations expected to guide member associations in implementing impactful football programs across the continent.

Being a member of CAF, South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) participation in this CAF strategic roundtable is a key step towards integrating the country’s football development with continental goals.

Such events are crucial for small and developing football nations to gain insights, build relationships, and secure support for their local leagues and national teams.

The workshop’s focus on governance and sustainability directly addresses common challenges faced by federations, including financial stability and long-term strategic planning.
