The Commissioner of Bor County, Samuel Ateny Pech Ariik, has launched the internal road renovation project in the county.

The statement further underscored that the project would specifically focus on the first phase of the renovation on the highly trafficked Langbaar areas, such as from Karaba Roundabout to Langbaar Junction.
The road also connects Akuot Ayol to Tibek and lastly Akuot Ayol to Tibek.
The commissioner emphasized that the project is a response to numerous calls and complaints from the people of Bor regarding the worsening road condition.
“I am responding to the urgent call by the people of Bor about the bad roads that have made life difficult for our residents,” Commissioner Pech said.
The statement further narrated that the project was intended to improve the infrastructure that contributed to the social and stable economy of the county.
“This project is a commitment to improving the infrastructure that is important for the social and economic well-being of our community,” it stated.
It reiterated that Commissioner Pech emphasized an urgent need for a collaborative approach, calling upon the Municipal Council authorities and residents to offer their full cooperation and support wherever necessary to ensure the successful and timely completion of the renovation work.
However, the severe damage of roads, such as potholes and crumbling sections, had worsened the daily life that led to vehicle breakdowns and increased prices for goods in the county.
