Article Title: “Wake Up with Jesus Christ, Thank God, Believe and Trust to Find Grace”

Sermon Title: “How to Speak with God? Through Prayer and Reading the Bible, He Speaks to Us Directly”

Psalm 91:15–16

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord, welcome to the fold of our living God in beloved South Sudan. The God of our fathers—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has blessed this morning with grace for His chosen people in South Sudan since eternity. May you be well and in good health.

Beloved brethren, I would first like to point you to this grace found in the Holy Bible, as you prepare your hearts spiritually with faith and trust in God alone, who has no partner.

A Simple Reflection on: How to Speak with God?

Through daily prayer and reading the Bible, He speaks to us directly. Truly, when we lift our requests (you and I) daily to our living God in heaven—Jesus Christ our Lord—we must do so with love, faith, trust, patience, and hope, according to His will. He may respond at any time—even in less than a quarter of a second—or according to His appointed times:

  1. Second
  2. Minute
  3. Hour
  4. Day
  5. Week
  6. Month
  7. Year

He may answer swiftly depending on the importance and timing of the request. As the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1:

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”

Not only that—Jesus Christ Himself has special “numbers” for His chosen people in beloved South Sudan who love Him, believe in Him, and trust Him. These are spiritual codes of communication:

  1. Phone Number: Psalm 55:17

“Evening, morning, and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice.”

Spiritual code: 1755 (without zero or nine)

  1. Urgent Message: 1 Thessalonians 5:17

“Pray without ceasing.”

Spiritual code: 175

  1. WhatsApp: Romans 12:12

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

Spiritual code: 1212

  1. Twitter: Jeremiah 32:27

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Spiritual code: 2732

  1. Email: Isaiah 41:10

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”

Spiritual code: 1041

  1. Wisdom Request: Jeremiah 33:3

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Spiritual code: 333

These spiritual numbers do not include zero or nine, as the Bible has shown us, dear brother and sister in Christ.

Let us return to the Bible in Matthew 26:41:

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

This is the relationship between us and God: we believe, have faith, trust Him, and ask for our daily needs—especially health and wellness. Then we pray for others before ourselves, which is very pleasing in the eyes of God and people.

These spiritual codes above represent the open gates of heaven, day and night, waiting for us (you and me), dear brother and sister, to lift our daily requests and challenges to our living God, Jesus Christ our Lord, through prayer and Bible reading without interruption. You will find grace in the eyes of God and people.

Let us also return thanks and praise to Him without complaint. As the Bible says in Philippians 4:6–7:

  1. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
  2. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Also, in James 5:7–8, under the theme of patience and prayer:

  1. “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.”
  2. “You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.”

Finally, dear brother and sister, after all that is written in the Bible, what is required from you and me is love for God, faith, trust, and hope. Then the answers to our various requests lifted to our living God, Jesus Christ our Lord, will come.

As the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:3:

“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

Also, in Psalm 50:15:

“Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Conclusion:

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
