Bor County Commissioner calls on Residents to Cooperate with Security

The commissioner of Bor County in Jonglei state has urged the Civilians to cooperate with the security forces for better protection and service delivery.

The call followed heavy deployment of Joint forces in the area after confrontation between armed youth the government forces.

In an exclusive interview with this news outlet, Bor county commissioner Samuel Ateny Pech said when the civilian collaborates with the security forces, they would be granted services.

“I would like the citizen to cooperate with the security forces then they will be granted the services because my aim is to protect the civilians”.

He urged citizens to stop complicating issues which may lead to fear among the civilians in the county.

“I want to tell the people that are far away that our state and our county is more than safe and calm other than before, let them not complicate and exaugurated our issues” Pech said.

He reaffirmed commitment in protecting the citizens with more emphasis on service delivery to population.

“They are going to be safe under the protection of security other than the protection of their own civilians” he added.

The commissioner added that the deployment of forces is part of government efforts to bring peace and stability to Jonglei state.
