The Chief Administrator of Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), Gola Boyoi Gola, has urged the SPLM party’s Youth League to remain vigilant, active, and united in advancing the movement’s vision across the region.

In a statement,  Boyoi made the appeal during the SPLM General meeting held in Pibor on Saturday, where 51 members of the Liberation Council were confirmed.

The Chief Administrator cautioned the youth against complacency and called on them to take leadership in strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.

“Our youth must not relax. You are the heartbeat of the movement. Remain proactive, committed, and ready to defend the unity and values of the SPLM,” he said in a statement emphasizing the critical role of youth in sustaining the movement’s momentum.

According to the statement, assistant secretaries and directors were also appointed during the meeting; a move aimed at bolstering the party’s organizational capacity and operational reach.

The Chief Administrator commended the active participation of the Women’s League and directed County Chairpersons to begin comprehensive restructuring at County, Payam, and Boma levels to ensure effective grassroots mobilization.

He further reaffirmed SPLM-GPAA’s readiness to support the anticipated endorsement of SPLM Chairman, Gen. H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, by the Greater Upper Nile region ahead of the upcoming national elections.
