Two separate tragic road accident in Northern Bahr el Ghazal has claimed the lives of two individuals on Thursday.
A local resident in the county confirmed that the Director of land and survey, Anei Chan Geng was among the victims who died during the incident.
According to the report, he was on the highway from Wanyjok to Malualbaai where he met his fate.
An eyewitness, Adut Deng told this publication that the accident shook the residents by surprise as he was hit by another motorist who also passed away after being transferred to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the director of traffic police, Diing Reech Diing, said another similar accident took the life of a pickup car conductor while riding in Aweil South County on Monday.
“One motorist and a conductor died in an accident on Monday and all these developments are as a result of poor riding and driving” said Reech
Officials have raised concerns about the rising number of road accidents in the region, attributing them to poor road infrastructure, overloading, and reckless driving.
They urged transport operators to adhere to safety guidelines and called on authorities to speed up road rehabilitation efforts.
