One of the roles of a country is to prioritize agriculture as the only source of survival over natural resources. I have been searching and struggling in every thought in order to find out the true source of life on the earth, but I have found that agriculture is the key and only source of survival in any part of the world because the whole world cannot stand without it.
South Sudan is the blessed country in Africa and the global world at large because of her fertile land, which is good for both modern and traditional farming if the citizens are interested in improving their economy and utilizing it agriculturally for the better change in the country.
The main function of the government of the country is to generate funds and invest much of it in agriculture in order to improve the living standard of its people and eradicate poverty among the people so that everyone will be happy and get rid of negative economic consequences that may arise in every corner of the country.
The good country is the one that can produce its own food and products rather than importing from the foreign nations, and this has not been seen in South Sudan since the independence.
This is because the people of South Sudan and their government have forgotten that they are able to work like other nations in the world and they are able to produce their own products agriculturally instead of depending on oil revenue, foreign donations, and agricultural imports from the other foreign nations in Africa.
According to the vision of the Sudan’s People Liberation Movement, agriculture was one of the millennium development goals that was agreed upon and crowned by the party to be prioritized before everything so as to eliminate hunger as one of the major problems that affects human life globally.
The current leaders of the Sudan’s People Liberation Movement are by far different from the former leaders of the Sudan’s People Liberation Movement and by far different from the missions and visions of the Sudan’s People Liberation Movement.
This is because they have wagged meaningless war against the nation and people and have forgotten their past missions and visions of liberation where they had agreed during the time of the movement that one day, they would develop South Sudan if they succeeded in their liberation.
Furthermore, that promise of making the country to be like other nations and continents in the world where all the citizens are free from social evils that are threat to human life. where are the stated promises and vows that you have sworn to fulfil my leaders and fellow south Sudanese?
The problem is that we South Sudanese used to promise the promises when we were not ready to fulfill our vows, and God hates lies, and those leaders who used to deceive the nation while they were for different missions and visions, which are different from the expectations of the country, are going to be accountable for their messes during the day of judgement and punishment of the evil people in the world.
As a South Sudanese, I have realized without doubt that corruption and fraud practiced by our leaders in their administration and leadership are killing the goals of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement and the implementation of agriculture as the backbone of the country for survival.
The oil revenue and foreign tax that are supposed to be used in supporting the agricultural scheme always go to the pockets of a few government officials in the country, and this has made the Republic of South Sudan remain behind in terms of agriculture and the other development that is necessary for the young nation.
To be honest and make you fully understand this information, I am writing to inform you that agriculture as the art or science of cultivation is very important to the country because it supports human life in any environment.
The embezzlement of agricultural funds that is supposed to be used in agricultural projects and farming is not a solution to your problems because the more you corrupt or steal the property of the country, the more you are cursed by God and the nation as a whole.
Therefore, I am not against the government of South Sudan or the constitution of the country, but I want to notify you as our leaders and citizens that there is a time for everything, and we have to comply with the requirements for the national goal of development, and if we don’t correct ourselves now, then the nation for which we had been struggling for quite a length of time and had cost the lives of our dearest heroes and fellow South Sudanese is going to collapse in the future without achievements or achieving the objectives of our independent nation.
