President Salva Kiir Mayardit has relieved two top officials from the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) from their duties.
According to the press release posted on the office of the president’s social media platform, the head of state relieved the officials on Monday.
Based on the Republican Decrees posted, Samuel Yanga Mikaya was relieved from his duties as the 1st Deputy Governor for Policy and Bank in the Bank of South Sudan.
In a separate decree, Rita Nyankir Akoon was also relieved from her duties as 2nd Deputy Governor for Administration and Finance.
President Kiir appointed Tong Akech Deng Aguong as the 1st Deputy Governor for Policy and Banking.
The head of state also named Weituy Luony Baboth as the 2nd Deputy Governor for Administration and Finance.
The President, however, appreciated the ongoing officials for their dedicated services for the bank and the country at large.
The head of state also conveys his best wishes to the newly appointed officials.
