Dr. Igga urges SPLM members to embrace discipline, unity to win 2026 election

The Vice President and the SPLM party 1st Deputy Chairperson, James Wani Igga has urged the part members to embrace discipline, unity and organization in order to win the election.

Speaking on Thursday during the Swearing ceremony of newly appointed secretaries and deputies of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), Dr. Igga said that promoting unity and cohesion, provide vision leadership.

“A party that is organize cannot be stop from winning the election, a party members must embrace discipline, unity and should be organize” Wani said.

He that the objectives are to defense democracy of the country, empowering citizens to actively participate in government position, security and safety of the people.

Wani emphasized that if the party focus on the people as first agenda, the party will win the 2026 forthcoming election.

“We will win the forthcoming election if we fulfil the all the way forward, we are confident to win the election” he said.

“Let our effort be guided by wisdom and strengthen by Unity and peace” Wani expressed.

Akol Pual Kordit, said that the president Kiir issued two directives to SPLM party members which were reorganization of the party and preparation for 2026 forthcoming election.

“They president Salva Kiir and the Chairperson of SPLM party gives us only two directives, reorganization of the party and preparation for the election” Pual reiterated.

He highlighted that SPLM must deliver peace and unity to the people of South Sudan and the party members must observe discipline.

Pual expressed that the SPLM policies should be the service delivery to the public and provide security and protection of the people.

“We are the only party with agenda in the country; you are vowing to defense the country at any time” Pual expressed.
