Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has officially inaugurated the newly constructed Morobo Central Market, a facility aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses in Morobo County.
The newly inaugurated market is designed to provide women and other small-business operators with an improved and more structured environment to conduct their commercial activities.
The facility is expected to strengthen livelihoods and support the contribution of small businesses to the local economy by providing a dedicated space for traders to operate.
The inauguration was part of Governor Adil’s broader agenda during his visit to Morobo, which includes engaging with local communities, promoting peace and unity, enhancing security, and advancing development across Central Equatoria State.
The market is expected to provide a more organised setting for commercial activities while supporting women involved in small-scale businesses and contributing to economic activity within Morobo County.
Governor Adil’s visit also focused on strengthening engagement between the state government and communities as part of efforts to promote peace, security, and development across the state.
