The Governor of Central Equatoria State (CES) Rabi Mujung Emmanuel has reaffirmed administration’s support and guidance to the newly appointed senior presidential envoy on Special programmes.
In a statement issued by the central Equatoria state governor’s press unit, Mujung reiterated his unwavering commitment to work and ensure support for success.
On Monday, Adut Salva Kiir, the senior Presidential Envoy on Special programme visited CES headquarters where she conveyed a crucial meeting with the governor.
As gesture for team work, the governor reaffirmed commitment to support the new appointee.
The statement also stated that the governor underlined promised cooperation and guidance throughout her work for better achievement.
It also underscored Governor Mujung warmly congratulated Hon. Adut on her recent appointment as the Senior Presidential Envoy on Special Programs for this country.
The statement emphasized that during the meeting, Hon. Adut discussed with Governor areas of collaboration with the State leadership.
Adut Salva Kiir, was appointed as Presidential Envoy for Special Programs, a senior post that will engage her in implementation of crucial services.
The move sparked wide debate among political and civil society circles, drawing criticism from rights groups and analysts who called it a clear example of nepotism and a sign of growing political dynasties in South Sudan.
