Community of Tijor in Central Equatoria state has demanded the state government to provide access to clean water and network connectivity in the area.
In a statement issued by the governor’s press unit yesterday, these demands came during their meeting with the Governor in Juba on Monday.
“Tijor community call for network connectivity, demand clean water access” the statement partly read.
The courtesy visit underscored the community’s willingness to support his leadership towards security and Service delivery to the people of Tijor.
“During the meeting, the community Congratulated the Governor for his re-appointment, emphasizing that service delivery and security stability remains as top priority while highlighting the need for network connectivity, and accessibility to clean water points for the Tijor Community” the statement read.
The Governor assured the community of his focus in spearheading security stabilization and effective Service delivery as his top agenda.
He called on the community to rally behind the State Government in advancing peace, unity, and harmony within the State.
He urged the community leaders to enlighten their locals of the coming elections which seek to give power to the citizens to choose their leaders.
The meeting underscored the strong sense of Governor Adil’s leadership in engaging local communities in seeking grassroots solutions to problems affecting them.
