The Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has called on the National Youth League chairperson to embark on youth mass mobilization.
In a press statement issued on Thursday by the state governor’s press unit, Governor Emmanuel Adil, called on Youth League leadership to embark on Youth mass mobilization to participate in upcoming election.
“The Governor called on the Youth League to embark on mobilizing the youth to ensure a decisive participation in the upcoming electoral process in December, this year” the statement partly read.
Governor Adil emphasized on the nation-wide youth mobilisation for 2026, December election. The move was to strengthen party structures ahead of the national polls.
The newly appointed Chairperson of the SPLM National Youth League Cde. Puok Bol Par, paid a courtesy visit to the governor in order to familiarize the League’s new leadership and align their strategic objectives.
According to the statement, the endorsement included mass mobilization, recruitment of new members, training of party cadres, and resource mobilization efforts to support party activities.
The leadership further deliberated on the League’s vital role in executing major grassroots rollout strategies to consolidate youth support across the country, rallying them behind the leadership of President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
The visit was a significant move to strengthen party structures ahead of the national polls, in order to familiarize the League’s new leadership and align their strategic objectives.
The both reaffirmed the commitment to party unity, the National Youth League Chairperson pledged to work in close coordination with the state chairperson to advance the SPLM’s mission and vision.
